Customer Service Advisor

There are 900 people at Leeds Building Society. All from different backgrounds, of varying ages and all with different aspirations. Here is a profile from one of our members of staff.

Name: Amanda Hall

Position: Customer Service Advisor (CSA)

Location: York Branch

Amanda joined the Society in October 2002 as a CSA based in our Insurance Administration Department at our Head Office in Leeds City Centre. In July 2004 she relocated to York and due to this she applied to move to our York Branch.

Amanda has now been a CSA in York for over a year and it is her role to serve customers and provide them with a wide range of financial advice. Amanda also wanted to progress her career so she asked if she could be sponsored to undergo the CEMAP qualification, which would mean that she could become a registered mortgage advisor. She has recently passed her first paper and is currently studying for her second so she is well on her way to achieving her goal!

Amanda says,

“I really enjoy working for the Society, I have been lucky enough to work both at Head Office and in the Branch network and have found everyone in the company to be very friendly and helpful. It's good to work for a company that is big enough to allow me to progress but not so big that I don't feel appreciated. I have been given lots of opportunities to develop my career within the Society, currently I am studying towards my CeMap qualifications and hope to go on to be a Mortgage Advisor. So, I'm sure I'll have a long and happy future working for Leeds Building Society.”
