Name: Mary Clayton Position: Customer Service Advisor Location: Investment Services, Leeds Head Office

Mary started with Leeds Building Society thirty-four years ago and began her career in the electronics data processing department in the Society’s Head Office, this was before the Society had automatic systems to monitor branch transactions! Mary spent the majority of her career working in the branch network at various branches in the Leeds Area and even helped out catching an armed robber in 1986.

In 2002, Mary moved to her current role in Investment Services where she currently deals with CHAP payments with UK Banks and processing international money orders. Mary communicates regularly with customers directly and branches staff regarding investments. Mary has enjoyed ongoing training courses throughout her career including Leadership training.
