Name: Michelle Taylor Position: Direct Operations Advisor Location: Direct Operations, Leeds

After finishing college, Michelle joined us in August 2004 as a Direct Operations Advisor. She underwent our full training programme and works in our small call centre taking calls from customers and prospective customers. In recent months Michelle has been given more responsibility and is now helping to train new starters, which she really enjoys.

Michelle says:

“When I first started at the Leeds Building Society I was really nervous because I didn’t think I would understand it at all! However I received so much training and was given so much help that it was never a problem for me. Also, I've never met such a lovely group of people as those who I work with in Direct Operations. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming - they are a joy to work with!”
